This is one of many books that we have turned to during the summer holidays. As with most of these kind of publications, they cover much of the same ground. However, I do like the way this one is laid out.

It’s divided into three parts, “Go, Do and Eat” and within each section there are many two-page spread suggestions. These are easy to read and really have an all inclusive family feel to each “adventure”. I particularly like the “Eat” section as it contains several recipes and ways to cook them out doors. They are also mainly healthy and encourage kids to eat good foods.

All in all, quite a good book to have in the collection and one my son seems to like a fair bit.
